Common questions

Do I need a trailer?

Only for the Guide (or a pickup bed). The Patrol, Recon, Ninja and Stealth 2.0 fit in or on a car, and the Stealth X rides on roof racks or in a truck bed.

Which boats handle rougher water?

The Stealth X and Guide are rated to Class III. The Ninja and Stealth 2.0 are rated to Class II. How a boat handles rapids also depends on the rower's skill.

Can I put a motor on it?

Yes on the Ninja, Stealth 2.0, Stealth X and Guide. The Ninja takes an electric trolling motor. The Stealth 2.0 takes a gas or electric motor up to 30 lbs, and the Stealth X and Guide take up to a 3.5 hp motor. The Patrol and Recon are oar and fin boats.

What's the warranty?

Every Flycraft comes with a 3-year factory warranty that covers manufacturer defects.

What if I get a hole?

Patch it yourself, or send it to us and we'll fix it. If it's a manufacturer defect, the 3-year warranty covers it.

How do I store it between seasons?

Keep it out of the weather and sun. Storing it inflated at slightly lower pressure works best, but loosely rolled in a closet or garage works too.

Can I use it in salt water?

Yes, in protected bays and calm surf. Rinse it with fresh water after each trip.

Can I finance my boat?

Yes. You can pay over time through Bread, subject to credit approval. Rates range from 0% to 29.99% APR depending on your credit, amount and term.

Can I build a custom package?

Yes. Add the package closest to what you want to your cart and add any extra gear, or call (801) 810-4022 and we'll build it with you.
