Whether motoring from point A to B, battling chop on the way back, or even trolling - the Recon paired with a trolling motor gets the job done.
The motor mount sits well out of the way of your casting and doesn’t interfere with the rear storage area so you're free to still bring all the gear you need.
The Recon with the new motor mount is one of the most versatile boats in the world. Its perfect for river, steams and even big open lakes.
Flycraft recommends up to a 30 lb thrust electric trolling motor (30" to 36" shaft). The addition of a tiller extender is recommended for ease of steering. The boat and motor mount are not rated for heavier or more powerful motors.
