So people frequently ask us about how to strap a Flycraft boat on top of a vehicle with crossbars. It's pretty simple.

But one thing we want to show you is you never want to just put the strap under the end of the crossbar. Pete's going to demonstrate if it loosened up, it could slip off.

So all crossbars are going to have a tower system like this. Might not look exactly like this, but we're going to wrap the crossbar through that. And now we have the other one set up as well. So when we throw the boat up and on and we run these straps all the way up and over, we're going to do the same thing on the towers on the other side.

Now, right now we're using two long straps and we're going to go all the way up and over the boat. We're never going to strap two handles or D-rings. And you're going to notice we really don't need a bow or stern line when we do that. Two long straps works great. Another thing you can do is do four short straps. And if you're doing that, you'll go directly from the crossbar towers to the frame and you stick it under the frame, wrap it under, and then cinch it down from there. Once again, never to handles or d-rings.

So this strap, once again, it goes underneath the tower. So if it was here, it can slip off. Always go under the tower. And then another thing, which isn't essential, but it makes your life a lot easier, have the cam strap up here. This way when I cinch down, I get to pull down. It's a lot easier than having it here and trying to pull it up like that.

So just like that. We're good to go. We can go 80 miles an hour on the highway if we want, and we will.

And here's how to load your Flycraft with one person:
